yes, i have lived in Ennis, TX (30 miles south of Dallas) for 11 months at a host family's home during a student exchange program when i was 16/17. i have attended a whole high school year (11th grade) and made many friends. i have visited NYC, New Orleans, Chicago, Washington DC, Arizona (Grand Canyon), Utah, Mississippi and most of Texas during that time. i've learned so much and have so many great memories of my time there and my family was the freakin best. i love them so much.

We usually had three per year, but one year there were four because there were twin brothers. One of them is the one I'm still in touch with, because he actually moved back to the area briefly a few years later.
