Gil Bellows playing Will

I agree the ending did leave a hole but I just loved this version of a classic fairy tale. Made life more realistic. Watching Claudia turn from just a domineering stepmother to a pure evil person was wonderful. I thought Sigourney Weaver played this part! Made me believe she was an extraodinarily beautiful woman. The first time I saw this I tried to get this on LD or VHS. I'm glad to finally get it on DVD. Unfortunately, most of these older movies (especially non-major releases) do not include extras as we hope. Its too bad. I could have enjoy another 30 minutes of this flick!!

WILL= drooling effect. LOL! Does anyone know of any other good movies Gil Bellows is in?
And yeah, I agree about the relationship thing. The scene when he standing slightly in the rain with his shirt off and she's caressing his scars.HOT! I just figured they didn't show anything else except a kiss either because I'm betting that Monica Keena (Lilli) was a minor and/or it wasn't relavent to the film. -

One of my favorite scenes is the one where Lilli is staring at the raven and Will comes in.
Here's the dialogue.
Will: Never look a raven in the eye for too long. It might steal your soul and fly away with it.
Lilli: Why are you staring at me?
Will: It hadn't occurred to me to look anywhere else.
Lilli: It's very rude.
Will: It's one of my better habits.
Lilli: I take it you have no manners then.
Will: No manners then and no manners now.
Lilli: Are you trying to be funny?
Will: I was just wondering what it would take to make a princess smile.
Lilli: I'm not a princess.
Will: What are you then?
Lilli: I'm the daughter of Fredrick Hoffman.
Will: Ah so you're nothing more than a name.
Lilli: What right have you to say that? You know nothing about me.
Will: I know enough of your kind.
Lilli: How could you know anything about anyone you live like an animal. You hide out like a criminal.
Will: And what are you doing princess is this some holiday you're taking?
Lilli: My father will find me.
Will: Where is this great father of yours why hasn't he rescued you?
Lilli: He will.
Will: What if he doesn't.
Lilli: I don't like the way you speak to me.
Will: How would you have me speak?
Lilli: Like a civilized gentleman not some savage.
Will: That is a word I will not bare from the lips of any man or woman. The last time I heard that word spoken was by one of your so called gentlemen. And there was nothing gentle about it or civilized.
Lilli: Let go of me.
Will: Why?
Lilli: Because, you frighten me.
I LOVE!!!! this dialogue. The tension between Will and Lilli can really be seen in this scene. Especially when he touches her cheek and she turns away. You can tell she doesn't really want to but she has to. Love this scene so much I remembered the dialogue.! -

I have not watched this movie in awhile, but I LOVE that scene you described above!
I will get to the fanfiction eventually, lol! I wonder how old Monica Keena was when she made this movie?
It's weird, I thought I was the only one who felt incredibly drawn to Will (Gil Bellows). This is the only thing I like him in, really. I never liked Ally McBeal. And I find him so sexy in this movie. -

Watched this on TV recently whilst suffering from flu. I have to say I saw Gil Bellows in a whole new light - the guy was hot! I loved the rain scene too. Monica was 18 at the time of this movie so they could perhaps have developed her relationship with Will a little more. However, the hot glances between the two of them did the trick nicely for me

i think that they didn't develop the relationship because it isn't necessary to the story. Lily said yes to the doctor dude's proposal because he was from the same social class and she didn't really have any other marrying optionsshe never even travelled from the castle before.
through meeting Will, she realizes not only that she can have other options, but also that social class is a load of rubbish. does she end up with Will? maybe, maybe notmaybe she decides she doesn't want to marry at all! the point is, whether or not they end up together is not as important as the character's awakening.
gil bellows is unbelievably sexy in this movie.
I've just come to tell you how fabulous I am.
