Just watched it on Netflix
So, Lili just left the baby to burn to death? I mean, sure, it was an undead baby, but it was still a baby. I'm not saying she should have saved him and raised him (which I think would be kind of inhumane). But couldn't she have carried it out and maybe killed it more humanely? Morbid topic, I know, but it kinda bothered me. I felt a bit of pity for him. Wasn't his fault he was resurrected. : / -

That always bothered me to.I mean the baby didnt seem like a mindless zombie.She could have rescued it and did the queen get the bay out of the cabinet thing in time.Nothing more was said about it.

I think since the fire spread so rapidly, mainly due to Claudia whipping around the room spreading the flames, Lili assumed the baby was beyond saving.
As morbid as it is, the child was an unholy entity. A dead being unnaturally resurrected. We caught a glimpse of his hand. It looked like a demon child's hand. I can only imagine in my worst nightmares what the baby itself looked like. -

I was of the same opinion. Up until Lil stabbed the mirror, the stepmom's appearance is artificially beautiful and young looking due to the evil and spells she has been casting. When Lil stabs the mirror, the spells working on her are immediately broken, her appearance is reversed, the baby stops crying. I assumed ALL of the spells she had cast had now been broken, including the one done on her deceased child.
