if they were to make a sequel to this movie what do u think it would be about? i think birdee and justin would get married in a few years after the movie and they'd be living in the same house.

If I would make a sequel,it would be interesing,if Bill would come back,after he realized,that Birdee is his true life.But Birdee of course doesn't want him back.So Bill would have to fight for her and at the end,he would win back Birdee,they would marry again and Birdee would be pregnant with hers and Bill's second child!

Please say you are kidding about Bill coming back and winning Birdie again. This man is too cruel to live. I wouldn' wish him on a grown up Delores.
Of course Birdie would marry Justin. Nothing about Birdie leads you to believe that she is insane. Justin is so smoking hot she will marry him with in a few months. She will keep her mother's house to be Bernice's some day, but live in the one Jusin built. -

Yeah. It would be more like Bernice now has Justin as a stepdad. Bill comes into town with Connie and their son to try and get Bernice to forgive after 10 years. Bill is forced to tell Bernice about how he was in love with Connie back at high school, but his well-to-do mother forbid it because Connie was an illegitimate child. She only approved of Birdee because she won beauty contests and had no family problems.

I'd like to see something embarrassing (but funny) happen to Bobbie-Clair so that she'll know what it feels like to be in Birdie's shoes in that small town. I always thought she was SO cruel in the bar scene when she laughs at Birdie's husband leaving her on national television. Even though the part where Birdie reveals Bobbie Clair's breast enhancement was really funny, I'd still like to see her humbled a bit.

If they were to make a sequel, I think Birdee and Justin would get married a little over a year after Birdee and Bill divorced. Travis would still be living with them. All four of them would be living in the house Justin built them and Birdee would save Ramona's house for Bernice when she gets older and marries one day. I would like to see Justin legally adopting Bernice because he loves her VERY much (unlike Bill her biological dad); he would become her dad and she becomes "Bernice Matisse".

i would make a sequel that focus on the relationship between Birdee and her daughter, and adapt how Travis grows up with Birdee as a stepmom relationship and how they cope with each other within a family. I would probably make Justin gets some sort of incurable disease thus the whole idea of the sequel is about facing life issue as a human.

A sequel is completely unnecessary, and due to the passage of so much time, could never happen now, but were it to have happened in a relatively short time after the original move, I would think that it would follow Bernice and her relationship with her mom and Justin, her relationship with Travis, and dealing with an absentee father. Maybe she would finally stand up to Big Delores, or perhaps she'd still be bullied daily by Big Delores (which would be more realistic). I'm thinking that at some point Bill would return to talk to Bernice, maybe finally want to bring her back to Chicago to live with him and Connie (whom I am guessing would be the real reason he is there. I would suspect that Connie would be the one to want a child, but for whatever reason, she can't get pregnant, so she wants Bill and Birdie's child to raise). However, I'm also thinking that at this point, Bernice realizes she has a pretty decent life where she is, and doesn't want to go with her father. But I'm thinking that Bill will finally try to fight to get custody of her, and may nearly succeed before he finally comes to terms with the fact that she is better off where she is, and he goes home empty handed.
