I'm interested in knowing who in their right mind could possibly think Jackie Brown is overrated.Jackie Brown is Quentin Tarantino's most underrated movie.This is the movie that hardly anyone talks about.That's a shame because in my opinion it's a real good movie.

How on Earth is a great film like this (with a 7.5 rating) overrated? Nah I would say that about Inglourious Basterds and Kill Bill (although both good films too, no hate!).

I think 7.5 is a good score for it. Ideally, it would be closer to an 8 but 7.5 is a decent score on here from what I've seen.
The best thing about the film is the dialogue. While I agree that the film doesn't quite warrant its running time, the seemingly pointless scenes we do get of SLJ, Robert De Niro and the girl hanging out are still fun to watch because of the dialogue.

It's very much a dull slog of a movie. Easily 30 minutes too long. It was the first real indicator that Tarantino needs a good editor to reign in his overindulgent tendencies.

I'm halfway through the movie and it's a snoozefest. I watched with great expectations. I'll pin it to be his worst, but I haven't finished it yet.

Its slower than his more recent films abd many films in general but has a quality not enjoyed in almost every ither film at the time and still now .

I'm a huge Tarantino fan, but this movie, I just find to common and boring.
For me this is the worst Tarantino film. Worse than Dead proof.

I remember liking it. I thought Quentin Tarantine made a fun crime thriller.
