Is this anyone else's favorite Tarrantino film?

I don't know why, but I've always considered this one my favorite. Pulp Fiction is a VERY close second, but this one will always be on the top for me.

Yeah man I think so. The worst thing about this movie is that audiences were expecting it to be just like Pulp Fiction. I was in the same bucket at the time it came out. I remember thinking De Niro was particularly bad as he did not play anything like characters I had previously seen in Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs, ie. No real dialog. Anyway a few years go by and I remember this being nothing like pulp fiction and I watch it again. I am enthralled. Start to finish I accepted this as its own movie and genuinely loved it. The pace of it, the settings and the characters are brilliant. I can watch this over and over. We may be in the minority but yeah I think this is my favourite.

Cool, man. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Have you read the Elmore Leonard novel, "Rum Punch", that this is based on? While I usually go by saying that the book is always better than the movie, Tarrantino made Jackie Brown better than its book, not because the book isn't as good, but Quentin has a way of making things unique. The thing about this movie that I like so much, I think, is the performances. I feel like I really want to know these characters and while I did feel that way about some of the characters in Pulp Fiction, I felt that way about almost all of them from this one.

I always preferred Pulp Fiction to Jackie Brown, but over the past couple days, I've re-watched his first three films and Jackie Brown truly is a masterpiece. I now prefer it to Pulp Fiction and by quite a bit. I also found that I prefer Reservoir Dogs to Pulp Fiction as well.

Well it's his best "realistic" drama. I love this film. The pacing, the subtilty and just the Love for his actors is just so wonderful. I like Tarantinos other work, but they usually have a comic-ish approach. This film is mature and Tarantino really shows his abilities as an director.

Yep agreed.
Always my favourite of his films (until Django) and now its joint favourite.
I think it's definitely underrated and deserves more recognition and praise than it got.
Incredibly well acted, especially Pam Grier, Bridget, Robert Forster and of course De Niro. Sam Jackson is good, but he annoys me, no matter what film!
It's greatly written and looks smart too. Definitely my favourite. -

This is by far my favourite. I went into it without any expectations and loved it. The long scenes of dialogue between characters are brilliant and never get boring, I love how the first 20 to 30 minutes are nothing to do with the plot line but just show how horrible Ordell is. Great to see Michael Keaton as he is underrated and Robert de Niro is as always awesome.

Jackie Brown and Ingloruious Basterds are my two favorites, each overtaking the other after I see it.
Jackie Brown might be better because it has a really mature and romantic ending

It's not favourite but it's a great movie and definitely Tarantino's most underrated.
It's also the type of film I'd like to see Tarantino one day return to. He doesn't have to dazzle us all the time, as he's done with Pulp Fiction (admittedly my favourite) and Reservoir Dogs. Sometimes it's good enough just to tell a great story about mature, compelling characters with genuine life experience. -

Oh hell yes. This and Inglourious Basterds are my 2 favorites. This film is just so underrated, it's criminal.
But it's cool, the real fans of this film just "get it" I think. It's got a vibe to it that's gotta be so hard to capture on film. But they did! -

It's not my favorite but its not talked about enough. It's a great film, sometimes I wish QT went back to the basics for a project.
- Pulp Fiction (Just An Absolute Masterpiece)
- Inglourious Basterds(Best Script He's Had. Think the language barrier hurt it for casual fans, to me it was Superb)
- Jackie Brown(Great Source Novel and Great QT Adaption/Interpretation)
- Reservoir Dogs(Raw, Real, Just DIFFERENT From His Catalog)
- Kill Bill(2-1, but it's one film in Reality)
- Django Unchained(Like It, Feel Its A Bit Overrated Though, Wasn't Blown Away)
- Death Proof(If it was full scale, I think it could've been insane, still, good film)
