bad ending

this was a great movie, but i hated the ending. the mom should've suffered more, Flyboy should've lived and left with Clay. ..all that was left was Clay and Kitty, and the other couple, with some horrible memories. i felt like i watched the whole thing for nothing. ..but don't get me wrong, i know that all of that would've been cliche and maybe the filmakers wanted to avoid that. but it sucked the way they did it. i was very dissapointed.

I agree, it was a total disappointment. I wasn't expecting a happy ending (a happier ending would have been good) but damn, what a letdown. It felt very disjointed & left me feeling very unsatisfied in having watched the film.

I think the ending was supposed to make you feel uneasy. At first I was a bit shocked but now I actually love this ending. I'd prefer it over a happy ending to be fair.

Yeah, although the ending was depressing and a bit shocking, I thought it was fitting.
