I mean I was slightly impressed by Brad Pitt's ability to say his lines in such an accent without bursting out laughing..because that's what i was doing. in an otherwise quite serious and moving film his accent was absolutely hilarious
and it wasn't even as if it was a different language, so he wasn't doing the old lady a courtesy of any kind or showing his respect for her origins or culture
i just found it hilarious and kind of out of place

The accent wasn't terrible, nor was it brilliant. I would say it was irie!!
