Can you blame her? That script WAS horrible, and I felt bad for the new girl playing Sonyashe's lucky to still have a career after that. And as far as Bridgette being a good Sonya, she never quite fit the bill to me. She's not bad on the eyes, but Sandra Hess (MK2 Sonya) is smoking hot, and looks alot more like she could be the special ops type than scrawny Bridgette. In other words, I never really bought into Bridgette's "badass persona", and her fight scenes were mediocre at best in the 1st MK.

I personally think that Sandra Hess was an improvement. She's better looking and can actually fight. Bridgette Wilson's one fight scene in the first film was the worst fight scene in the film and she played the character as more of a spoiled brat than a tough agent.

I agree. She really did have that attitude of a special ops agent would have. Not to mention she can kick anyones ass that gets in her way. Or I guess you can say she'll blow them all away. Kiss of Death.

Not really; she was 29 when she made "Annihilation". The character's been kept in her 20s for the whole series so far. Bridgette was 21 when she made the first film, but her attitude helped her seem a little older.

I totally agree. Sandra's fight scenes looked a lot betters than Bridgette's single fight scene in the first movie, and Bridgette totally came off as a spoiled brat in the first movie.
A boat that floats on water can also sink in it. -

Yep. Better looking and a better fighter, more athletic.
