At least Johnny doesn't just disappear, they show what happens at least. Staying true to the game was good, but they didn't have to kill him within the first 5 FRIGGIN MINUTES to stay true to the game's story.
Oh yeah, I don't care alot for Johnny anyway, I mean he was cool, but never my favorite MK character in the games at least. -

They show at the end everything returns to the normalbut no Cage. so everything goes to normal but Cage is still dead. Wow, that's depressing.
Also, I know Liu is in storyline, a better fighter than Cage. But for Kang to kick Kahn's ass, and Cage getting destroyed with one hit? WTF is that? Good way to make him look lame. His death could have been much more significant, like giving everyone else a chance to escape. It would be much more true to the game storyline, where he was overwhelmed and killed by an entire extermination squad. -

I actually thought the death was pretty funny. He jumps out to save Sonya in a heroic fashion, and gets his neck snapped in about 2 seconds. Sure it's horrible. But when I look back on it, it's pretty freak'n hilarious!
Anyway, letting Johnny stay dead was probably another mistake. Seriously, this movie has a mountain of them. Has anyone ever actually read about all of them? It's like a Stephen King novel. It should be illegal for men to dance..

Screw the story lines Jonny Cage made the first movie great. Lynden Ashbey should have come back. But obviously he realized a bad script when he saw one. Even Bridgette didn't come back the script was so awful.
