Ok im gona keep this short and sweet..kinda,
the original film rocked, could have been better but was still a great watch for any MK fan. The second however sucked in every way possible. Worst film and biggest disappoint of all time. Even Ed Boon the creator of mortal kombat knows how much this film sucked.

I love it too. It really captures the feeling of a '90s video gamesimplistic, straightforward, and colorful. And the fight sequences are well shot and choreographed.
The soundtrack is pretty great. It was the first CD I ever bought.

one of my favorite movies (along with original MK) when i was a kid, still love it. What this guy said, really captured soul of the videogames, soundtrack was AWESOME. MK Annihilation OST- Two Telephones and an Air Raid (Cyrax scene) uff

I enjoy this movie, although I think it's pretty awful. Whereas the first one was legitimately a pretty good, movie movie.
Annihilation
is very entertaining thanks to it's high camp factor and lots of unintentional laughs due to the hammy acting, incompetent direction and bad effects. To me, it's essentially a "so bad, it's good" type of film. It's a lot fun to watch and usually has me howling at some of the dopier moments. ("to bad YOU will DIE!")
Sure, I was 9 when it first came out and a genuinely liked it then but as an adult, I have to admit it's objectively a bad film. It's just a bad film that I also happen to find highly entertaining and watch with friends to riff on about once a year.
And FURTHERMORE, this is my signature! SERIOUSLY! Did you think I was still talking about my point?
