    Wouldn't the President get even more criticism for not revealing is National Security adviser was behind two murders, one attempted murder of the President and what was more or less a coup through blackmail?

      Yes, for any cover-up if anyone were to find out. Who knows how routine cover-ups are at that level of government. Or if they're even feasible in the digital age.
