While I don't agree that she's the worst ever (I would put Nicole Kidman in that spot), I agree that her performance in From Hell was cringeworthy at best.

I don't know why everyone else is poncing on about how hot she is (which she is, no argument)- that has nothing to do with whether she can act or not.
Anyway I thought she was rubbish in this.

Agreed. She was like Keanu in Bram Stoker's Dracula. Just did not fit in with the period piece.

While I did think also that she looked a bit too 'innocent', I think that it what they were going for.
Similar to Julia Roberts' character in
Pretty Woman
. Neither may have been at the trade too long, plus they were not drunks or drug addicts.

Somehow I didn't think her character would have much trouble raising the 4 pounds, altho she should relocate her offices to a upscale neighbourhood.

Up until I saw "Flowers in the Attic" I would have agreed with you 100%. Now Heather ranks worst while Jennifer trailing closely behind.
