Yeah, I never understood all the hate for this movie. It was not that bad. It was pretty entertaining to be honest. Definitely a lot more fast paced than the newer one.
This should at least be in the 6.0-7.0 range.

This and ID4, are for me, 2 of the most entertaining movies I've ever seen. I don't know whether it's the 90s cheese, or just Emmerich and Devlin's style. But I love this movie. Always have.
See I'm not always in the mood for serious thought provoking thrillers or dramas. Sometimes I just wanna sit back and enjoy the spectacle. It's dumb and loud, and I like that.
Plus I love the design of the monster. Patrick tatopolous did an awesome job. It looks sleek, fast and lethal.

I think it was total trash: out of the thousands of ridiculous things, the worse of all was the military who was unable to hit the beep dinousaur no matter how many bullters, rockets and helicopters used. And what was with the power of those rockets who where able t destroy skyscrapers? The ammount of bad decissions was huge to - like the helicopter chased b Gozilla who just tried to run from it instead of taking altitude e_e I won't even mention te biology - eggs hatching in few hours?! It was ridiculous. It could had been considered a decent movie if it was prodced by High School students but it was made by Hollywood Total trash.
