Was the warden's wife ever addressed in the end?

Coffey brought the mouse back after that guy killed it. I would think the mouse would die first? Old Tom didn’t seem like he needed to live in a care home. A good movie with a sad ending.
Totally different movie but I didn’t like the way Of Mice and Men ended either. -

I loved Sherilyn Fenn. She was so beautiful. My boys had a crush on her lol. I had no idea until a few years ago her aunt was Suzi Quatro who played Leather Tuscadero on Happy Days. Sherilyn’s mother was also in a female band. Ok off point sorry.
Him killing Sherilyn and then his brother killing him was just too sad. I like happy endings but that’s not realistic. -

@Anna
After a bit of talking with the Mister, we came to the obvious conclusion. Talk about feeling stupid!
This is simply a matter of give and take.
John Took the sickness from Paul and the Warden's wife, but he Gave life to Mr Jingles… he Gave Paul a glimpse into what had happened to the two little girls.
It makes sense to me now.
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

No! Thanks to both of you!
Thanks for being my sounding board!
By the way, I loved John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men.
I have read the book and I have seen three of the film versions… my favorite being the one with Gary Senise and John Malkovich.
Lenny was much loved by George, much the way the old dog was loved by Curly.
In the end, they needed to be dealt with.

Thanks to your Mister as he made it all make sense. I haven’t seen this moving in a few years to remember every detail.
The Gary Senise version is my favorite as well. I haven’t seen it in years. I haven’t read either books but now I will. Books are usually so much better! -

OOPS! Curly wasn't the old man with the dog…. that was another name. Can't think of him now, but I am too lazy to look it up.
