Saw this in about 2002. I was about 19. I actually thought the movie was alot older than 1998 because of Haddaway and the 21 Jump Street references.

I fell in love with it when I saw it in the theater with my girlfriend (who is now my wife) and we were both 20, almost 21.

It came out when I was 17, and I worked at a movie theatre when it came out and I watched it at least a dozen times there. I have loved this movie since it came out.

I was 22 when it came out and I watched it 3 or four times in the theater. It is as funny today as it was in 98.

I saw this probably a year or two after it came out, so I was around 9 or 10. Watched it with my two best friends at the time and we couldn't get enough of it, even going so far as to do the Butabi head bob at our grade school dances in front of our entire class. I've probably seen it about 25 times since then, always at least once a year, and it's still one of my favorite movies.

Such a great movie. It's hard to believe people think this movie is terrible. It was supposed to be stupid funny and it delivered beautifully. Many are saying MacGruber is the 2nd best movie next to the obvious Wayne's World, but I would disagree. This movie is the 2nd best SNL movie ever and no one will ever convince me other wise.

yes, I was 8 going on 9 when it first aired on HBO back in late '98/early 99' i had seen trailers and was dying to see it. One of the few films to hold up to its trailer glory. Still love this movie today, but miss the fun I had watching it as a kid. Miss the feeling of the colorful-nirvanaish-Roxbury world this movie and its music pulled me into. Being a kid, and not knowing much about the world yet, then seeing a movie like this made adulthood look like fun paradise-heaven. Unfortunately as you age, you realize, sadly, it was just a movie. But I appreciate the good feeling it gave me back then, as well as several other great flicks I saw as a kid like The Terminator & Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Titanic, Speed, Ace Ventura, Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, Beverly Hills Ninja, Mrs. Doubtfire, Forrest Gump, Jumanji, well, if you remember the wonderful 1990s, you know the list goes on and on. I really miss the 90s altogether. Damn :-[

And I was drunk. Twelve years later, I still insist there is no better movie to watch when you are drunk and just got home from the bar/party.

Four or five. I liked all the music and colors. Plus, Will Ferrell was tall and Chris Kattan was extremely short by comparison. Fun, fun, fun.

I think I was probably 5 or 6 when I first saw this movie. We had it on VHS at my house, and I watched it all the time while growing up. I always thought Chris Kattan was cute in it. lol
