I have to admit, I haven't seen this movie in over a decade, but I don't remember liking it at all. I remember it as being the beginning of the end of SNL related comedies and not nearly on the level of any other 90s SNL related comedies (which i kind of group sandler and farley movies in) Do I need to rewatch this?

      Heck yeah.
This became a cult fave a couple years after it came out.

I'm finally watching this out of obligation; I've neglected it since it came out. Honestly it's no worse or no better than any other SNL spinoff. I thought it was funny enough

It's one of those movies that is cool to hate, but if you play it for people they actually laugh a lot during it. Sure it's not award worthy, and the directing is sloppy sometimes, but it's got some pretty classic one liners and a very fun cast. It's short and sweet too, like a silly comedy should be. Is it objectively well made? No. Is it still funny and better than expected? Yes.
