A remake would be wonderfull. But I think it would be better if they could make the part II. They are older, but the hilarious thing goes on!!
Will Ferrel and Chris Kattan are they frineds in the real life?
They should do this sequel, it would be the opportunity for Chris to come back in a real comedy, because, as I investigated, he`s later movies are not quite ok.
What do you think? -

Not too sure if they still friends in real life, cos Will's career took off and Chris hasnt really made any big movies.
But it would be cool if they could do a part 2.
Any ideas on what kinda plot line you'd like to see?

A plothmmm
They are married, and the wifes hate each other, so they do some staff( hilarious things) to separate them, to end their friendship. Finally they manage to split them and each of them begins a new life, a more mature life. They end up with kids and stuff. One of them must be a successful businessman and the other an ordinary guy. One day they meet again and start the funny stuff again, They realize that girls just messed up their lifes.. They start to party again, dump their girlfriends and start to act like in the old times.
I would like to end it somehow more maturely.. so my ending should be:
They realize that they are not kids anymore but they realize also that they are important for the new generation, so they re-open the old club which they managed together.
Any other ideas? -

First off, it is Butabi.
Second, I think the above mentioned sequel concept sounds pretty bad ass. Chris Kattan and Will Ferrell ARE friends in the real world, pretty good friends actually. I was 11 when I saw this movie in summer '98 and it was AMAZING! I still watch it all the time. At least 2wice a month. This movie is a classic and defnitely set MY standards for comedies. Sure, it wasnt GREAT but it is funny and just plain entertaining.

yea this movie is a classic.
I'd rate this along with movies like Forrest Gump, the Goonies, Adventures in Babysitting as classic movies that are PRE 2000 and still fun to watch.

My idea for a sequel is that it this:
They are still running their club but another club is now in competition with them. Their club is not doing all that well. They need to keep things fresh and make their club popular again. As Mr. Zadir said, "One day you're hot the next day you're not." It would focus on them trying to become the number #1 club in town and all the wacky situations that come along with it. -

This movie was awesome. If I ever own a nightclub, I plan to steal the brothers' theme idea. I'll cut them in if they demand it too. Without ass grabbing.
Did YOU just grab my ass?
-That's all the time we have, thanks for playing. -

Yeah, that'd be really awesome if they did a
Roxbury
sequel and included some of the SNL barhoppers.
I know a lot of people on this board think that there is no chance of a sequel ever being made, but you can never really say that with absolute certainty. True, it wasn't a box office hit and all the critics hated it, but
A Night at the Roxbury
has garnered a pretty big cult following over the past 16 years. Chris Kattan hasn't done any big movies in a while, so I could see him being open to making a sequel. I could also see Will Ferrell signing on. People got so excited when
Anchorman 2
was made, so maybe the same could happen if Ferrell came out with another
Roxbury
movie. He's more popular now than he was in 1998, so I bet his presence alone could draw in way more moviegoers a second time around.
Also, if
Dumb and Dumber
can get a sequel 20 years later with the same leading actors, I don't see why it's not possible for the same to happen for
A Night at the Roxbury
! Releasing sequels years later seems to be a recent trend in Hollywood. I'm also hoping that Jim Carrey will make a third
Ace Ventura
movie.
Welcome to
Fright Night
.for real.
