Why does the guy with the machine gun wink at detective Lee ?? Was it a nervous twitch, something in his eye, picked up on film by mistake. He winks at him then the shooting feast begins.

I think it was scripted as a nervous twitch to indicate how wound up Sang is and is just itching to start killing because a moment later Juntao calms him down. It's not very well done since it looks as if he's indicating to Lee that he's on his side but that's what I figured it was.
