Obviously not, because it's never brought up except for the 'hmm, that's odd' moment where Qui-Gon asks Shmi about Anakin's parentage.
The truth is that Anakin did have a father, and that father was either 1) Darth Plagueis or 2) Darth Sidious as revealed in III - Revenge of the Sith's opera scene. -

I'm sure he asked. He may not have known enough about human biology to question mum's answer too deeply.
And I doubt it's too unusual for multi-generational slaves to have no father.
Seventy-seven courses and a regicide, never a wedding like it! -

It would have been really questionable if it had been a motherless birth
Qui-Gon: Who was his mother?
Anakin's father: There was no mother. The kid just sortashowed up one day. I can't explain what happened.

I'm sure he did ask but Shmi's answer to him is anyone's guess. Whether she told him the truth or made up a story about a fictitious father, is anyone's guess and both would have Anakin raising more questions. He comes into the story long after I'm sure he inquired about his father. You'd need some event to prompt Anakin into bringing up a subject that was likely already discussed many times with his mother. If he was going to address it himself, Jar Jar would have had to ask him pretty much because Qui-Gon and Padm would be too tactful to potentially upset a kid. There probably aren't a lot of happy "my dad's not here anymore" stories for Anakin to respond with.
As for the old theory that Plagueis conceived Anakin with the Force, I doubt it. Palpatine would have had to be unaware that Anakin was specifically the result of Plagueis' Force meddling, because what better proof would Palpatine have of the Sith ability to create life than telling Anakin to look in a mirror? I do however like the theory that Plagueis or Palpatine tried to conjure life from the Dark Side, but the Force fought back and created Anakin to eventually end the line of the Sith. In that scenario, I prefer that Palpatine was the one trying to create a life, because we know he didn't manage to. As if he was meddling with powers he couldn't possibly comprehend, to quote another Lucasfilm 3rd movie. It would add even more irony to Vader killing him in the end.
