Wholesome and South Park don't usually go together in the same sentence unironically, but I recall the Thanksgiving play episode (titled "Helen Keller! The Musical"…lol) being a pretty decent and yes wholesome episode…well for South Park anyway, but I can't really think of any others like that. Was it just a one off?

I think that was just a one off. I used to watch this show, but if finally got too gross, and I quit watching it.

Where did you leave off? I haven't watched regularly since probably around 2009/2010, whichever season that've been…but I had still watched here and there until 2015/16 which is I think when they started a serialized format. I've only seen a special or 2 since then. I do still rewatch older episodes though, especially the first 4 seasons. Those were probably my favorites.

I kind of lost interest in family guy years ago for the same reason, the comedy started to lean more into gross out humor, and in particular a reason I stopped was because it also had graphic and excessively violent bits. The characters also became all very unlikeable.
