Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — South Park

Anyone notice it on Gerald's monitor? After it said Dick Slapperman ended the call, you could see where someone said, "Holy f-ck man" (uncensored) to skankhunt on Yahoo answers. It's interesting that they bleep the word if someone says it, but not when it's shown in text.

It is interesting. South Park doesn't have to bleep f-ck to meet broadcasting guidelines, but they do it out of preference.
They probably wanted to see who was paying attention with the text.

I've notice that in a few other south park re run episodes lately.

They had the S bomb uncensored for a while so I'm not really surprised.

I always watch the show on Hulu so it's always uncensored. It's not that I get excited about "bad" words; I just find bleeps annoying.

Same here, on both (I always watch South Park on Hulu, and find the ridiculous bleeps very annoying). I always infer all bleeps to be the F word, 100% of the time. Makes ridiculous beeped arguments on daytime talk shows even more ridiculous (but very funny).

It depends on the time of day that you're watching the episode. It airs uncensored later, but not during the original airing.
Most of the streaming services have the uncensored versions.
