Oh my God, I miss that show too. Some of the older shows, like Doug and Angry Beavers and I think Hey Arnold, you can find on DVD. I'm looking for Kablam with no success, is it available anywhere?
But the music swerved, it sank into deep,
soft murmurs as though it were falling asleep

Only good show on nick anymore is rugrats (all growed up actually isn't half bad but classic is better) and Fairly OP.

Yup. Spongebob is the ONLY one left. If SB were to inadvertently get cancelled Nickelodeon's ratings would go straight down the tubes. Anyone agree with me?

if spongebob got cancelled, that would basically be like cancelling american idollolEVERYBODY loves spongebob, even if you say u dont like him, you doi mean seriousy, the only other "Decent" show would be fairly odd parents, and thats not even that goodNick is doomed

What's sad about it all is that slowly their fanbase is gonna drop, and Paramount, who once brought us classics like Airplane! and some of the more favored Modern movies like Team America, will be nothing more than a company that was popular, now it will deliver nothing good.
I like the older shows. On a message board for Are you Afraid of the dark?, I simply made the idea of not showing the old shows, but releasing them on DVD, and then start the show over again, Remade, with a whole new audience, since the kids of today only Watch Rugrats or Spongebob, and Zoey 101, among other shows with talentless actors, and introduce them to a show that's "NEW" to them, but classic to us, and reenact the older episodes with Remade Graphics, and stuff. Don't change a line, leave the stories the same, keep the same ideas, but alter them so they don't seem so outdated, and if that picks up, make more episodes and add on to the franchise. Imagine seeing all the modern actors of today appearing in an episode of AYAOTD? with remade graphics, but it's the same old story from when they were growing up? I'd love to see perhaps a Maniacial Fred Willard play a character that so and so played years ago.
As for the older shows, all we can do is weep, Because Nickelodeon most of the time does not care for viewers, or they wouldn't turn up so much Schlock for people. They just want profits. If Spongebob were to disappear from the Nick channel, Nick would be bankrupt. And As for FOP, that's only funny because of some of the jokes. I don't think younger kids get the jokes as well as the older crowd does. Do you know any kids who can tell that Cosmo found the Holy Grail from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" in a pile of sand, and laugh about it, knowing where the reference came from? No. I found that reference to be hilarious.
But, yeah. If SB goes off the air, Nick can it's profits goodbye.

lol that would be a great idea solid, but the sad truth is that it wont ever happen, unless people like us, that cared about other people and not money, were the ones who ran the station

You know, Paramount should take some Advice from Ted Turner and the Cartoon Network and get some shows that are actually good. CN despite having Warner Bros, they should take the idea of getting shows that are animated and fun rather than live action, like they are now.

I really hated "Avatar" with a huge passion a couple months ago, until I actually sat down and WATCHED it. Yes, the anime-esque style of animation in "Avatar" suits it, but I wish they would have done a more traditional style, so less people would immediately put it down from what they saw.
All that being said; "Avatar" is a wonderful show that caught me by surprise. It may not be par of other GREAT shows that Nick use to produce, but it's something. The storytelling is what really brought me in, and I really care for these characters. It's a great show with above-par storytelling, please do yourself a favor and watch a couple of the episodes.
I still miss Pre-Dil Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, Hey! Aronld, Kablam of course and As Told By Ginger but they play ALL of those shows around 3-7 AM (eastern US)On the Nicktoons Network chanel. They don't play the 30 minute regular show of "Kablam!" but at least they play the shorts 🙂
                              cheers!

i was born in 1990. gee i wish i was old enough to really watch beavis and butthead and understand it, and i wish i was alive to watch pee-wee's playhouse when it was first out. but i consider myself very fortunate to have had been able to watch the early masterpieces of nickelodeon. every single show was so creative. i would name them all in a list but that would take forever im sure they have all influenced my life in some way (that's corny but they were actually really good shows unlike now) And sometimes i feel that maybe i just think the shows are bad now because i'm older? but somehow they all just seem like worse quality than what it used to be. kablam! was a show that was really out there i mean my whole family could enjoy it. so bizarre.
something that made me mad is that one time i put on nick for the heck of it (since i never watch it anymore unless it's a new episode of spongebob or somethin) and i was like gahh it's the voice of Dagget from Angry Beavers! it was on that Squirrel Boy show. i like couldn't even concentrate because the voice didn't go with the character
lol well i wrote a lot, but in conclusion, now i stick to watching things on adult swim. mostly family guy, tom goes to the mayor (buy the DVD!), and most currently Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! It's for the old nick generation, believe me. awesome show great job is probably the closest equivalent to kablam! nowadays.
and some other things that are good are the late show with david letterman and the colbert report. gooood stuf.
my favorite episode of the rugrats was always "Home Movies". i dunno why it was always just awesome. and my favorite special episode was always the passover one.
                                k im done. bye.

nickelodeon is just worthless now. it all started when they sold out their more creative producers, like John K. (ren & stimpy). now nick is just a corporation. the same thing happened to g4. the suits didnt want any political incorrectness, so they just give us bland shows
