Taxpayers paid nearly $100K for a 2 night get-away for Eric Trump

Just wish PVD would look up the cost of Michelle Obama's trip to Spain in 2010. According to the White House, the Obamas "paid their own way"! Ha ha, I enjoy good comedy.
Eric Trump is not the First Lady. We always paid for travel expenses for First Ladies, including Nancy Reagan, Laura Bush, and Barbara Bush. Why shouldn't we for Michelle?

This sounds exactly like the kinds of posts that Storm did on Obama. Please tell me that you can recognize this hypocrisy.
This in no way is the same as the crap Storm spewed. When did Eric Trump become president? Is he a minor child of the sitting president? Why should we pay any travel bills for him? That is hypocrisy from the right or anyone else that can't see the difference. His grown children should not be involved in his presidency at ALL. -

Ivanka Trump also boarded Marine One with her father when the made the 'surprise trip' to honor the fallen Navy Seal this past Wednesday. Why was she on Marine One? She is not a government official, and didn't belong on that aircraft. She has no role in her father's Presidency, and should have never made the trip with him. Bring an elected person from congress with you, or an appointed government official, or your wife.
Not your 35 year old daughter who has no role in the White House.

You mean if he's a minor, American taxpayers should be footing the bill for his travels?
Obama is the only one who claimed he would forego taking vacations as president. Of course, he lied. But what else is new?
Did Obama ever tell the truth? -

What does ANY of that have to do with Eric Trump, and yes, if he was a minor, I would expect American tax payers to pay for some of his expenses, just like we did for President Obama's girls, President Bush's girls, etc.
Since the boards are ending, I sincerely hope you seek some help for your myopic view of the world. -

I'll give Obama credit for covering up the biggest story during his Presidency - the Bowling Green massacre! How in the world he was able to hide it from everyone except Kellyanne Conartist is beyond me.

I'm not complaining or criticizing tax payers paying for a president, a first lady, or minor children's travel. So, if Trump, Melania, and little Baron want to go on vacation, I have no issue. The issue at hand is paying for ERIC TRUMP'S travel expenses. Your comprehension skills are seriously low.

Were Eric Trump's travel expenses legitimate?
No, he doesn't work for the government. So his expenses - paid for by taxpayers - was not legitimate. Why is that so difficult for you to comprehend?

Is he now supposed to stop all business meetings now that his father is president?
And can you name one time that Obama and his wife had to travel on separate planes and therefore increase the overall cost of the vacation by hundreds of thousands of dollars that you complained?
Did you complain about the billions of dollars Obama gave Iran?
Or the billions he spent taking out Khadaffi?
Or the billions he wasted on Obamacare?
If you had done all those things, your criticisms of Eric Trump would hold more substance. But you didn't. You let Obama do whatever he wanted. -

Is he now supposed to stop all business meetings now that his father is president?
No - let him go on as many "business meetings" as he pleases. Just pay out of your own pocket, and not the taxpayer's. It's that simple. We didn't elect him to the White House, he has no role in government, he should not be lodging on the taxpayer's dime for a $100,000 get-away weekend. It's that simple.
