Comparing the more than 6 million murdered Jews (Holocaust, Shoa) with what happens in Gaza is an inappropriate trivialization of the Holocaust.
The Jews didn't attack Germany, just as Hamas attacked Israel on October 07, 2023 and murdered more than 1,100 innocent civilians.
And the Jews didn't hold any German civilians hostage, as the Hamas does till today.

Europe has a higher standard of living, is culturally similar and is not surrounded by hostile neighbours.

Dude there is video of them commandeering aid shipments and warning off civilians with automatic weapons. That is exactly the sort of behavior one would expect from a group that uses money meant to help the people to buy weapons and who use their own as human shields.

The reason is that Palestinians have been kicked out of may fellow.arab nations for causing trouble. For example there were quite a few living in Kuwait when Saddam invaded. They backed the Iraqis. Needless to say, after the US kick Iraq out the Kuwaitis weren't too happy with them. They got kicked out. There have been many similar incidents.
