5 years ago today singer Whitney Houston was found dead in her hotel bath tub. I can't believe it's been five years already - seems like a year ago. I still remember seeing the 'breaking news' on TV.

After the long national nightmare we all endured this previous year, it feels every bit the 5 years since her death to me. Now, her daughter's death seems like it's only been a year ago to me.

          oh brother
You guys can't even pay respect to the deceased without dragging your hate for Trump into it. Any excuse to denigrate him. Even under the guise of - and expense of - "respect" towards those who have passed. The over-embellished hysteria continues.

Where in "After the long national nightmare we all endured this previous year" did I say anything denigrating about Trump. Talk about hysteria!
Your comment although an inaccurate assessment of what I said, is very enlightening to meI think I get why a lot of you believe in alternate truthsyou lack adequate comprehension skills.

Explain what the "long national nightmare we all endured this previous year" was
              Many
people didn't endure a "long national nightmare" this past year. Yet you specifically say "
              we all
endured" some "long national nightmare" this previous year. Those were your exact words. So what was this "long national nightmare"?

Were you out of the country this past year? I think there's a consensus on how miserable this last election cycle was and whether or not you're willing to acknowledge it, it spanned to include both conservatives as well as liberals.
Both the RNC and DNC, after a long and exhausting process, provided less than hoped for candidates. Once campaigning finally got underway, fake news, poor and disgraceful behavior, and avoidable missteps abounded. It was a colossal sh*t show, be glad you missed it!

Nope. But shouldn't you be now?

More sad news this Grammy weekend..
Singer Al Jarreau passed away this morning at age 76. He was having respiratory problems and cardiac problems the past few years, not sure if this is what caused his death. He was hospitalized last week and died there today (in LA) with his family surrounding him.

omg, already??? NBC aired an epi from 1991 wherein she was the musical guest. What a talent and powerhouse. So natural.
