Why don't you care? he promised in his campaign speeches that Mexico will pay for the wall - no questions asked. Period, end of story. SO the gullible (yourself included) voted for this inept clown because of such promises, and now he's backing off.

Two-thirds of Americans do Not want the wall built. Those of us who are not in elementary school & actually work for a living do care where our taxes go.
Mexico was NOT being coy. They told us they would NOT be paying for the wall. Why do you believe Trump when he says they will reimburse us? Why do you think a wall will keep the US safe? I would like a child's POV lol -

While I think theirs little chance Mexico will actually pay for this wall. He isn't backing off yet. He said Mexico would reimburse the US. -

It would serve Trump right if Trump Tower was surrounded by people who voted for him, shouting, "Build the wall! Make Mexico pay!"
In the end, there'll be some new fencing put up, perhaps a "mini wall" in one place for Trump to save face. Essentially, nothing will have changed.

He actually did say that a few times. Again, i'm only playing devils advocate here cause I kinda agree that if built we will be the ones who pay for it, but if I did believe Trump I would still have expected we would build it, and they would pay us back.
