. . .and see what Trump does.
Why? We've already had more than a year of him telling us exactly what he's going to do. Why should we not believe him? After running a campaign based on unbridled hatred, why wait and see if he comes to his senses? He's a man who couldn't be trusted with his own phone. -

She is "part of the media" and feels she needs to spread that message of calming people down. BUt this time it won't work.
These are all Millennials and beyond folks who, unlike the generation of Joy and Whoopie, never seen America really protest. They haven't seen other countries and people do it either. This is beyond their comprehension. All they know is what they see on reality-tv.
Sadly to many, they are protesting their rights ahead of time to let the President elect know, they care for their freedoms too. They see "take America back" as times of Apartheid like in Africa or civil unrest in the 50s/60s, back alley abortions, police state like in the 30s/40s and those were not good times.
The President elect RAN on all these things. That was his chance, he already said what he was going to do and 60 million people voted on it. so the other 140 million voters have something to say too..and that is, we're not going to take it..IF this is where he is headed.

I agree.
As the wise black man once uttered in Ferguson, "Let's burn this bitch down!".
Let's protest him every day until our welfare runs out. Then we have to get a job and work. But maybe protest on the weekends? But I do like to go out to the country on weekends and rest. Can I just phone in to protest? Maybe set up a protest hotline? I can text in my protests. There are alternatives.
I'm with ya, hester!
