Looks like President-elect Donald Trump will be granted NO 'Presidential Immunity' from the more than 75 lawsuits currently pending against him, as he was 'citizen Trump' when the suits were filed, and he will have to go to court for each one even though he will be a sitting President.
The first suit is on the court calendar for November 28 - from a federal class action suit filed in 2010, and two more in 2013 against his failed 'Trump University'. The suits are based on accusations he ran a criminal enterprise with the University being nothing more than a scam to rip off the young, poor, naive and elderly of their life savings. The claim is Trump's violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
His lawyers have said they are "open to settling out of court" over the next two weeks, or pushing the trial date until after he is sworn in to the Presidency on January 20. (Trump will have to attend those hearings.)
Other lawsuits which are on the court calendar in coming months are those by workers who were never paid, and members of Trump's Floridian golf course where they say they paid for exclusive memberships, yet were not permitted on the premises.

      This should be very interesting.
And when will that audit be done? He promised the country they could see his tax returns.

People being vetted for jobs in his admin have to disclose their taxes to avoid any conflicts of interest. What a joke.

That's what I say. As a sitting President, he will be tried as a US citizen and sit through lawsuit after lawsuit, and give sworn testimony. I'm sure more than half of them will probably end up being dismissed, settled or thrown outbut the ones which linger on the calendar will be interesting.
Seems his lawyers really want the 'Trump University' lawsuits to hurry up and go away. I'm betting those will do the most damage to him if he's found guilty of racketeering. He will be impeached within his first 100 days.

He also has every intention of making his brats part of his administration. Donald, Jr. wants to be head of conservation. Nepotism, much?

I read somewhere that Judge Curiel was encouraging the parties to settle in the Trump University case.

I can't say that I'm "ok" with it but like you zabbree, I definitely have NO desire to see a President Penceanytime soon or ever.
I don't want to see that idiot for President either. HOWEVER, I think once Trump starts drowning in his legal battles the GOP itself will be quick to start impeaching him, and remove him from office (to save face for 2020) and make Pence President (he's well liked). I'm sure this has been their 'back up plan' all along.
I've said it before and I'll say it again -
no way is Trump going to last 4 years in the White House. No way.

Several months ago I began to fear that Trump was simply a Trojan Horse for party establishment and imagined that if he were elected they would like nothing better than to see him face these lawsuits, even the possibility of impeachment.
Perhaps "like nothing better" is too strong, but I do believe that they would not put up much resistanceat least behind the scenes.
Believing Trump to be short on any genuine political ideology, sense of public duty, and courage too for that matter, his ego might require him to tow the line and become their lap-dog.
