This movie is about a bachelor party. I was wondering what takes place in real life bachelor parties. In movies they usually end up with strippers and drugs and lots of alcohol etc. How much of this happens in real bachelor parties? Im male myself but i have never been to any bachelor party, thats why i wonder about this, in movies they show and do so many different things.

That very much depends on who is organising the bachelor party (or 'Stag party' as we call them in the UK). Some grooms tell their best man under no circumstances should their be hookers/strippers..no drugs..etc. Mind you..that doesn't mean the best man or the groom's mates are going to comply with his wishes. Grooms getting ridiculously drunk (or slipped a 'Mickey') and being left handcuffed, naked, to lampposts is still quite common.

I think the whole idea of a bachelor party is that it will be the last time the groom ever gets to hang out with his buddies, get drunk and party it up. Once the guy gets married then he's never getting to do anything without the old ball and chain. From then on it's lame dinner parties with boring couples talking about their dull jobs and ending the evening when the kids have to go to sleep by 8:30. Why anyone would want to enter into and commit to that lifestyle is totally beyond me but no wonder they party it up so hard right before.

I'm married and it's nothing like that for me at all, I do whatever I want. I could have a bachelor party evry weekend if I wanted to, thing is I'm getting old so I don't care so much for that anymore. Marriage has very bad rep but for me has been great.

Marriage is pretty lame for those incapable of love. Lucky for you, your father did not feel the way you do.

My experiences have been the typical strippers, drugs and alcohol. Usually something fun during the day and dinner leading up to it and something fun the next day. Skiing, boating, gambling are examples of things I've done at bachelor parties aside form the strippers and alcohol etc.
