Okay I only managed to catch the end of this film on tv a while back so I was just wondering what was wrong with the kid with crutches in it and was there any reason why he was supposed to be disabled?
there may be a boogie man or boogie men in the house:Homer Simpson.

the disabled kid? it was a bad thing that happened to him, but not very bad.
Try calling your local Blackbuster and ask the guys there, dumbass

In answer to the OP we don't ever find out exactly what's wrong with Adam's kid but the fact he's on crutches, wearing leg braces/calipers and wearing that protective helmet suggests he was born with a serious disability.
