Not sure you're watching the same version of the films I have seen but, if so, frankly you are full of sh!t. The subtle looks, giggles and smiles between the two lead characters screams chemistry to me. Watching Notting Hill today for the 40th+ time it never ceases to amaze me that the ebbs and flows of their on / off relationship can be told so beautifully. Perhaps you stay away from films with such subtlety and stick with something less challenging - like porn!! Just wash your hands afterwards x
