No way man Although I still didn't get the change to watch the third (which looks awful just by the trailer), this one is miles inferior to the first one.
The first isn't exactly great cinema and it's a bit silly at times, but at least managed to be involving and somewhat suspensful This sequel just goes on cheesy mode until the ending and sadly it takes itself so damn serious, it becomes even cheesier.

I like the first one better cause it was more of a suspense movie while this one was for the most part just a slasher film.

I liked the first one the best, but this was really good as well. The third film was really terrible, though.

No way. The first movie was an effective and suspenseful old school thriller slasher. While it was a little silly and cliched at times, the plot still made sense. This movie was just dumb and took itself too seriously. The third movie was much, much worse, though.
