Mox says this to Jules at the end, but my question is when did Jules ever say this to Mox in the first place? The only time she mentions anything close to that is at the drive thru where she told him said she doesn't date football players. Is there a deleted scene or something?

Good question. I also had a "huh?" in my head when Mox said that. I think it's either a deleted scene issue, or (more probably) sloppy scriptwriting.

it comes in the scene when mox is talking to jules outside her house after Kilmer threatens his scholarship, she tells him to step up and play the hero and he acts like he doesnt know the meaning of the word and it is said as an inside joke between the two because she is telling him to play a hero and he is saying he is not a hero just a normal football player who she does not date. its not a deleted scene or sloppy scriptwriting just pay more attention to the movie

          I'll definitely do that, sir!
And I do hope you stopped to take a breath while typing that run-on sentence!

              Yea,
It didnt make sense to me neither though I just saw both films mostly because of the bad scriptwriting and directing, and it was a lame line at that moment.
