    She sounds like a moron no matter what she says doing that fake accent. Amy Smart (?) is from California.

        She did ok, it was a little cringy at times. Some southern accents are cringy too though.
        How about Lance's dad's accent, that was another odd one.

          I'm a native Texan - pretty much all the accents were terrible and overdone, maybe with the exception of Billy Bob. Van Der Beek's staccatto "I.Don't.Want.Your.Life" has been a long-running punchline here in Texas ever since that movie came out.

            As a native Texan, you have no authority on what a Southern accent sounds like. Sure, maybe you've visited; but you didn't state that.
