yea watch it, i watched it once on sky box office in 1999, and after i watched it one i watched about anther 5 times my mum was pissed though cause it cost me 3 ago, but hey, they only reason i watched it so much cause it was the first cotc movies i had seen, so i would advise you to watch the others ones first or at least the 1st and second ones,
if you are wandering where you can see the first one try looking in hmv or vigin megastores or put it in a search engine, i know for definate you can get it in plyusa.com and play.com and sendit.com.
if you have sky digital, and you have the horror chanel, they have been playing teh first 3 children of the corn and i thinkk in the soon future they are intending to put on the other ones keep an eye out for them

I have the DVD for the first movie and I know that SCI-FI (I do not have sky) has been playing the 1st one, along with AMC.

It was not very good at all. I turned in off about 20 minutes in. Even Alexis Aquette couldn't save this movie. I was hoping for something more like the character in Sometimes they come back again.

Here's my review of part 5. For more horror movie reviews, check out my blog at myspace.com/dooovall
I just watched the fifth Children Of The Corn film. This ones about a young adult named Alison who is on her way with five friends to a small-town bar to mourn the passing of a friend. Two of the friends (who drove in a separate car ahead of the others) are promptly killed in a corn field by some kids. Alison and her allies arrive at the bar and chat with a local about a nearby farm full of religious fanatics who worship He Who Walks Behind The Rows, which resonates with Alison because her missing brother claimed he was heading off to devote his life to just that. Alison and her friends head to the farm to track down the brother (Jacob). A lot of boring stuff happens, the killer kids turn on the outsiders, much death ensues, and then somehow Alison extinguishes the cults eternal flame (in a silo) by dumping gasoline and fertilizer into it. This somehow snaps the kids out of their murderous religious zeal. Alison then goes to adopt her dead brothers newborn kid whose eyes glow eerily in the closing image.
I wouldve liked this project better if Alison and her friends were en route to rescue Jacob from the cult in the first place. The fact that they coincidentally stumble upon his location stretched my willing suspension of disbelief to the breaking point. Also, when the four surviving friends find their two dead pals, theyre not especially freaked out or inclined to get the hell out of town despite ample opportunity to do so. While this film is a few notches more watchable than part 4, its not especially engrossing. Skip it.

It is OK. Not the best of the sequels (that honor goes to Part 3), but it is still better than some. I would definitely watch it if you are a fan of the others in the series. I like it very much.
