I know it's in New York, but where exactly?

I was wondering the same thing. Many streets there are very narrow. Maybe "avenue of the Americas"?

At the end you can see the signs on the subway stop, it's Christopher St.

It's Seventh Avenue and Christopher Street, looking south

Yep, 7th and Christopher. Mark goes into the Christopher St station (the 1 2 & 3 line - the 2 & 3 go to Brooklyn) to get home. The Twin Towers are in the background, and are shown a lot throughout. I hate that a lot of movies have later digitally erased the Towers from their films. I love seeing them!
