I've never actually seen her in anything else, but she did indeed do a fine job with this.
I think I've got enough gas to get us to Moose Jaw.

A wonderful role for her, and she nailed it. She should get more offers in comedy. She seems so natural. The 'freak-out' cafe scene is so funny.

I agree. This was Tori's best role.
After years of seeing her on 90210 (I guess I am admiting to age and taste on that comment) and some of her bad tv movies, I too got new appreciation and respect for her.
It is creapy however to watch the movie and see scenes from NYC with the towers in back ground.

saw this fantastic film in 2000 and was really, really impressed with tori spelling. having seen her in the 1990's on 90210, I always thought that she sucked as an actress. however, her range might be limited, but she certainly nailed this one! for everyone who got interested in her i can also recommend "sol goode", "scary movie 2 (sadly, her good scenes got all cut outso watch the dvd extras), "house of yes" and "50 ways to leave your lover".
when "trick" came out i read some interviews with her and frankly speaking she seems like a really cool cat; self-deprecating, funny and kooky. wish she would do another comedy with jim fall, who directed her so brilliantly in "trick".

speaking ofmaybe jim fall's upcoming film "jupitor's mom" could be a new tori spelling vehicle.
