That's reality, and if you can't handle, don't watch the movie. Little kids are being murdered, sacrifaced, raped and sodomised everyday. I really liked this movie, cause it portrayed realism. Not saying I like that realistic portrayal of life, its horrible no doubt. But There are crazy religious people in the world. Just because you didn't like that aspect about it doesn't make it a bad movie.

You're a hard guy, watching all that extreme violence. Dont stop now though, there are many more threads for you to go and tell everyone that you watch more violent films than them without getting grossed out.hurry!!!

Egotism aside, he's got a point. Murder and random gore is not "sadistic," nor was this film.

What you dont think crap like this happens? This stuff happens in real life and not just for religious reasons, but for the sake of doing it, and even no reason at all. The world is full of psychos; youd be surprised (read shocked) at just how many there are, and worse, how normal they seem when off-dutythe Devil doesnt actually have hooves and tail.

Webster's definition of sadism includes delighting in cruelty, so I think your use of the word qualifies. Didn't the Rufus Sewell character follow the Devil? Don't his followers delight in cruelty? I find that pretty scary.

No, he referred to the Devil as his Lord. He told the girl he wanted her to accept Lucifer by calling for his help.
