A windscreen on a police car has been damaged and so the vehicle can not travel without being a danger to the public. In case of an emergency call out the officers are removing the windscreen so that they can see the road ahead clearly and be able to put their lives on the line for the continued safety of the general public.
The thread title is accurate, just incomplete as it would make the police look like they are going above and beyond at their jobs and old Acab in the OP wouldn't have a whale to hunt

Fugazi changed his name again? Now he thinks he's Margin Walker? I wonder why he keeps doing that? lol
We've been over this several times when he posts this video. The front windshield was damaged beyond repair, and they needed to clear all of the glass out of the windshield so that they could safely see out while driving their vehicle for their escape. They could not safely drive the vehicle due to rioters smashing the windows. It would have been unsafe and illegal for them to try and drive with a smashed, opaque and bashed in windshield.
This has been discussed
ad nauseum
, but it doesn't sink in.

I have to question the mentality of people believing this. Are you lads faking it or what.
Clearly, the windshield was already broken by protesters, and they're trying to clear the windshield so they can see through it and/or remove that broken glass to have a new windshield installed shortly.
There's a reason the video is 6 or less seconds long.
