First of all, Caroline's mother is the same character that Kelly Rowan played in the predecessor right? I'm confused about that b/c in the 2nd one, Annie said that her mother Octavia was the granddaughter of Candyman's daughter, making Annie herself Candyman's great-great-granddaughter. But in this movie, Caroline said she is his great-grandaughter. Please tell me I misheard something.
Anyway, in this movie, what is the precise reason why Annie is killed? Is it just revenge for killing him in the last movie? And if so, why does he do it then at that time? (is that when he comes back, however he managed it?) Can anyone shed some light on any of this?
Number 1, I order you to go take a number 2. -

After what Caroline said about her mom being so depressed and worried I thought Annie called Candyman so she could get herself killed. Also in part 2, Candyman wanted Annie's(unborn) daughter so he probably didn't need Annie anymore.
I absolutely hated that Annie was killed off because it ruined part 2.
