In the name of God, please do not watch this movie (unless you are am awful, B-movie fan, in which case you'll probably be in Heaven).
I love the first Candyman but was disappointed with the second film. I thought it was cheesy and obvious, but it still had buketloads of style to it - at least compared to this.
Some dopey bitch from Baywatch takes the lead role and tries to embarrassingly recreate Virginia Madsen's hypnotic look from the original.
Tony Todd (who's actually admitted this film is s h i t) has nothing to work with, just a couple of lines lifted from the previous two films.
Oh, and with regards to the previous two films; it acts like they never existed by changing the origin of the Candyman.
In fact, the only two good points in this movie are the lovely artwork of Daniel Robitaille and a quite cool scene where a bee crawls out of an egg yolk in close-up.
This film is one of the very worst horrors I have ever had the misfortune to see. I couldn't even watch to the end, and that's saying something.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I liked the two previous ones , but i felt the lead actress was weak and she really annoyed me . The only one with acting ability was the little girl. I didn't think it even fitted too well with the second one. I would advise against watching this unless you want to waste hours of you life.

yeah was pritty crap seeing as it ended in the sencond candyman. Its like it did not mean anything in the second one. O well lets just have him come back just like that shall we. Its not even ringing the drops out a sponge. The sponge was bone dry after a good sequel. Idiots make films like this. Surprised Tony Todd agreed. I bet they asked if he would make another and he said yes. Then they gave / wrote the plot and handed it to him. He was probably black mailed into it. lol. The lead actress acted like she was in scary movie. Tony Todd played a good performance but the others wellno they were terrrible.

I HATE that they changed his hook in this one. It looked ridiculous and would have probably been quite hard to rip someone 'from groin to gullit' because of the angle of it. He just looked like an idiot.

I got the feeling from this movie they were trying to make a soft porn movie. The female lead was awful and the only reason she got the part was soley on her looks. For shame on you Tony Todd how could you let them talk you into staring in this.

I finally got around to watching this today and i dont think it was as bad as everyone made it out to be. It actually connected pretty well with the last two movies despite bad acting and a few plotholes.

The moment I seen the female lead, I thought she was going to be the dumb badly acting blonde they usually kill at the beginning of horror movies. How disappointed I was when I realized she was the main character.
