I really did! the tone, the pacing, the humor, the visual effects were well done and consistent. The 2nd one was very jarring to me the first time with all the fantasy material, i rather liked the Gothic Hell beast type stuff the best and felt the Humor was more well Balanced with the drama. I remember hating the 2nd when i first saw it (in fact i walked out) but since then i have gave it another swing and enjoyed it better but i still prefer the first. And is it just me or does the Makeup look like a step down in Golden Army? But Anyways that's my opinion, so do you agree or disagree with me?
Also i liked Abe's Voice better in the 1st as well XD
Overall i feel the first is the better made of the 2 and i hope they Eventually get around to making number 3 with that Lobster Johnson Storyline with Bruce Campbell would be neat. -

The loss of Abe's voice from the first movie really bothered me. It really took away from the second movie. I hated it as well at first, due to being unbalanced by the change in Abe's character.

The second movie is great, but I far prefer the first movie. But I can say the same about the comics as well. The ones that dealt directly with the mythology and were full of nazis and occult stuff were way more entertaining than the fantasy stuff.
Ha! Campbell as Lobster Johnson? I never heard that before. That would be brilliant.
