Listen up Maxie, Explain to me how this is one of the best? too many plot holes and inaccuracies in it, Soundtrack can't make a movie the best ever, Acting, Directing, Cinematography, Writing, would all make a best movie ever, This mocie doesn't have, especially compared to other masterpieces, such as Godfather, Shawshank, Lawrence of Arabia, It's a Wonderful Life, ect.

Agree. I cannot believe how TDKR and Interstellar are both above this movie or how both are even in top 250
Fan bias is just too much. Interstellar was avg with horrible science and the stupidest last 30min and TDKR is just abysmal garbage.

I'm a huge, huge Nolan fan. But honestly, this movie was far superior to TDK or Interstellar. It's epic in every way. From soundtrack to set design to cinematography to writing and costume design. It has a lot of emotion. I've seen it many times, but each time I see it, it's like the first.

after all these years, Im in doubt if I should keep my 10. But as far as I remember this movie rocks and has a fantastic ending. I was thrilled.

I agree 100%. Maybe nostalgia has something to do with it, but normally if i have that nostalgic feeling towards something like this, and then i watch it again 10 years later, i realise it was just nostalgia that kept me thinking it was good. Did not work for this one though. Gladiator is forever on my 1st to rewatch list. It's just as good the next 10 times as it was the first.
Because im god, are you god to question my answer?

It's more of a carbon copy of Spartacus, but still an extremely well made one.
Not the best movie ever for me, but I'd rank it top 20-ish. Other than a few cartoonish shots of the Roman atmosphere, it's a beautifully made film.

I put a few other movies ahead of this one, but definitely in the conversation as one of the best movies ever made. It was so moving. I wish all movies could be this well written, acted, and directed. Also phenomenal soundtrack.

Funny this movie did not have great reviews. Man, did they blow this one. This one is a true and epic classic and its been 15 years and nothing has been close.
