was she a child of the chosen? i believe she was cause she was totally devoted to Isaac and the whole conspiracy. My thought is to ensure Isaac's safety she killed all the people who knew Isaac was admitted in the hospital and burned the records of his existence (so they wouldn't kill him like Gabriel said)
BTW Gabriel was totally menacing was he not? and it takes some definite smarts to manipulate every single person in a film to believe youre something you really are not (then again he is HE WHO WALKS BEHIND THE ROWS) -

I think that Cora was one of the original children. She was still so devoted to Isaac because she had been "brainwashed" by him and was still in that state as she grew up. I also think Doc Michaels and Rachel were like this for a while because they helped Cora hid Isaac in Gatlin County Hospital. But Cora is definitely a devoted follower to Isaac. And Gabriel tells Hannah that all of the other younger children are "Children of the Children." They are suppose to be the kids of the first children in Children of the Corn.

Right i knew that i just always wondered cause she seemed so loyal and what you say makes sense plus she would be of age if that had happened and she most likely would have been the one who pulled Isaac's body from the cornfield after his supposed death in part 1.
Also, Do you suppose Cora knew the truth behind the real first born son? i think she did and was in on the conspiracy to reject Gabriel (the true first born) in favor of Isaac's son (Isaac being the power hungry bastard he was in the first film) I think this because when she tries to kill Gabriel she says "This is for Isaac" meaning i think she is trying to kill Gabriel to protect Isaac from finding out. They needed a red herring for the substitute first born and Isaac's son Matt would be the perfect scape goat. -

Yes, I completely agree with that. I think Cora knew all the time about Gabriel being the first born son. She just wanted to do anything for Isaac even if that meant killing Gabriel so Matt could take his place.
A lot of people think that Cora is Matt's mother but I just don't think that. I don't think we will ever know who Matt's mom is. Because she doesn't ever come and talk to Matt really or treat him as a son but as a protoge (sp?!). But, I definitely think she knew all along.
