We don't really know if Isaac had a wife/girlfriend or not in the first film. Although we didn't see her doesn't mean their wasn't a story line or plot for it to happen somewhere. So he could have had one and we just never saw her. Many speculate that it's Cora from COTC666 that is the mother of Matt but I don't think that. But that's debateable.

I'm sorry if this is a silly question and admittedly I'm feeling a bit too lazy to search it out for myself. Anyways, wasn't Isaac supposed to be quite young during the first movie? He looked like he was supposed to be presumably too young to even father a child. Am I missing something?
