Actually at some point and time they changed it to 18 years old..Might have been a mistake but in the 4th and 5th movies they were saying we die on our 18th birthdayjust a glitch but orginally its 19..

Right. It is 19 originally. My guess for the glitch is that they either didn't review the other films a great deal before making the others or they took their ages from the short story. Because in the short story the age is taken down to 18. It says this. "From 19 plantings down to 18 seedlings." or something to this effect. The age though is 19. I hope that my other explanation helped you out jackblink182.

Just a quick question: I was just wondering where Cora and Dr Michaels were in the first movie, as you have stated that the original children are now adults and live in Gatlin? Sorry, just slightly confused

It never shows them. I'm guessing they are just characters that were supposedly there in the first film just never shown and they brought them up in the screenplay to flesh it out more. That's just my guess. It shows Rachel but I don't think that Cora or Dr. Michaels were that big of characters in the first film so there was no need to show them. If that makes sense. Hope I helped. Feel free to ask anything else.

What did the little kids in this film have to do with anything??
All they did was run through the corn giggling a few times, and then it showed that wierd boy closing Hannah's door But it went NOWHERE with it

You know even I'm stumped as to why they had that little boy with the missing front teeth always staring at Hannah and creeping her out. Maybe to symbolize coming events like with Hannah becoming pregnate with a son and so forth. But even I am not sure as to why that little boy was always running amok.

I watched the film today and have to say that i was incredibly dissapointed. You say that Rachel was in the first CotC but i was wondering where abouts she was in it. I think the ending was terrible and could have been made so much scarier i was laughing. This was way to tame compared to the first movie. i would also like to ad in the third movie when you get to see HWWBTR ITS THE FAKEST WORST SPECIAL EFFECTS EVER! thank-you.

Actually they are mentiioned in COTC 2 when a police officer says that a couple who were driving through Gaitlin reported what happened there.
Also another question, why are there still people in the town. IN COTC 2, all the surviving chidren where moved to the next town, So how did Rachel and Cora and the others escape detection when the police removed all the kids?
Also if you go back to the original COTC, Rachel was not loyal to Issac. She was more loyal to Malachi, as seen when Issac is on the corn cross, and Rachel walks in with Amos, she smiles as Issac is hanging on the corn cross. -
