        Agreed! I love it love it love it! My ex husband bought the DVD for me, knowing that I am a big Star Trek OS fan. Since then, I have watched the Galaxy Quest DVD so much, over and over. It's a hoot. I caught the reference to "corn-fed Iowa beef" right away. 🙂
        And now "Mathasar" is on the show "Flashpoint." I heard his voice and just knew where I'd heard it before.

          I'm watching it right now and even though I've always liked it I'm amazed by how good the effects are, they look much better than most of the cgi crap done these days.

                  Of course I have this movie on DVD dont need to wait for anyone to show it to me, ever.

                      I wouldn't be exaggerating to say I've probably seen it 100 times since it first came out. It's one of the most delightful comedies of the past 20 years and it's basically infinite in its fun and re-watchability.
