Haha! I absolutely loved this show. I really liked out of the box even though I was a little too old for it. But before even the puzzle place I loved Reading Rainbow. I grew up on RR and Mr Rogers and I think RR is my favorite PBS show. Books used to be my life. I didn't think either show was boring to he honest.

Well, I just didn't like Reading Rainbow because the books the kids were reading usually weren't books the library near me had, so it was frustrating.
Haha, I feel like I'm four again. xD I want a lollipop!

That makes sense. Lately I've been hearing people say they thought Reading Rainbow was boring because it's about books so that's kind of my immediate response. My problem was I wanted too many books. Even if I couldn't find the books mentioned I'd come to my mom with a gigantic stack.
Oh yes, I remember when I went to the bank with my mom I'd always get a lollipop. I also loved the smell of new books, so if it was a new one at the library or one that my mom bought me I always smelled them first. I'm sure my family thought I was crazy. But it was like a treat for me. Weird right?
I also went through this period (when I was older) where I had to have something to drink with me while reading (not soda) and one day I spilled red drink on my favorite baby Sitters Club book. Well that put an end to that.
But just to get back on subject this show was one of the best kid shows PBS has had. It was interesting, fun and diverse. It appealed to so many people, even my older sister loved it and one of us will occasionally break out with the theme song. Or if someone has the flyaway hair or their head bobs around one of us will say "Puzzle Place" in reference to the puppets, usually it's if we're watching tv. We never say it to someones face unless we know them. And of course they have no clue.
Whoa, long post. See what memories will do?

Haha, I can totally see you flashing back to your past like the old men do on those sitcoms, then snapping back into it, that's hilarious. 🙂 I loved and was OBSESSIVE about new books too. Like, reading Harry Potter books in my house (this was when I was older, of course) was a freakin religion. It was kind of funny, now that I think about it. We had a whole shelf dedicated to those damn books. xD

              I remember when
              Dumbeldore was murdered
my Mom handed me the book (she read it first) and was all like "It was very shocking. Very shocking book." Then she walked away. She had a tissue in her hand.
              what the hell. xD

LOL! Well that is unexpected. Wait
                Dumbledore dies?
I'll have to revisit Harry Potter again.

Yyyeeeeeeeesss. In the penultimate book. It was a big deal. According to JK Rowling he's also gay.
                  Fun facts!

No, apparently Dumbeldore and his friend (I forget his name) who only appears out of the last book, Harry talks to him, I think its (goes to wikipedia)Grindelwald, I think they were supposedly lovers or something like that.
