I just watched BE again after 15 years of not having enjoyed it, and this time I thought it was great fun. First time I saw it was the UK Dvd, second time the U.S Dvd. I know there's a few differences between the two versions, but surely that's not the reason I changed my mind so drastically, or is it? Are the two versions that different? Either way, I really enjoyed it this time round. I especially liked Travolta and Whitaker's performances.

IT may just be that you came to the film with different expectations and a different mood.

And being 15 years older and having seen many many films.
I think over the last few years I've seen so many bad films that the line between good and bad has become very blurred. But I actually did really enjoy it, and without the aid of alcohol or anything else.

MY own expeirnce with it is that I enjoyed it too, but in a Mystery Scince thearte sort of way. I just enjoyed how aweskely bizzarre and baldy doen it was, and the stupidity of all the Characters invovled, wile still eeing the story as somehtign zI coudl invest in for a period of two hours or so.
